The organization honours the Indian Theosophist Jiddu Krishnamurti who lived and lectured in Ojai Valley, which he considered âa vessel of comprehension, intelligence and truthâ. Pine Cottage, his home from 1922 until his death in 1986, is now the Krishnamurti Library and Study Center, four miles northeast of town. The philosopherâs progressive ideas on spirituality are detailed through books, DVDs and other media.
